Hey all,
For those of you who may not have heard, Ted Kirkpatrick of Tourniquet fame has released a solo album. It has been released, and is called 'Ode to Roadkill'.

So, like you, when I read the title of this album I was questionable.

However, after purchasing the album, I can say that it is fantastic. It is great stoner/doom in the vain of Kyuss, Sleep etc.

Not bad, but it is pretty weak (yes, I like stoner doom/rock). I'd like to see another solo release from him though--I think the next album will be much better than this.

Listening to the samples. Pretty cool. Reminds me of Bongzilla and Electric Wizard's Dopethrone album. The animal sounds are very well recorded and cool.

I like the sound of the guitars, but the whole animal sound thing was Kinda,...idk..weird..

but I do love the message of the disc, I just think doing vocals about it would be a better way of conveying it..
