it almost seems like everything needs to be bigger and 'better' to be able enjoy life these days.
What are some of the small things you really enjoy?


I love to hear my cat purr (by my hand ofcourse)

Bubble wrap.

I love trees, and I don't need a huge landscape with majestic trees, no, sometimes just a nice tree is enough to make me feel wondered.

the love I feel from my family and friends.

The moments where my mind is completely blank... I like that feeling. They don't seem to happen anymore though.

Good food and drink.

I'm a morning person, So I enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch as I watch the sun rise before I go to work. This is my quiet time. Helps me to reflect on my relationship with God.

i'm a night person. i enjoy looking up at the stars for a few mins when i can.

i also like good food and a good drink.

and getting my hair shampooed in the salon. yes!

also, a pm from a friend can cheer me up alot too.

the sound of rain...

The ability to create.

When I'm alone in my room, creating basslines. Writing lyrics, etc. Gives me a sense of purpose.

Giving away to someone who really needs it is the best of feelings.

So many things...

-watching the stars
-listening to the rain
-willow trees (and other cute/pretty trees)
-driving around with my best friend, blasting music & singing at the top of our lungs
-808's (yes, the drum machine thing)
-hugs
-slurpees/icees
-pretty acoustic music

I'll probably add more later, but I love the simple things in life. Hah. :]

My little boy is two in a week or so. When I pick him up from his cot in the morning, he says 'daddy!', leans his head into my chest and we spend about 30 seconds looking into his mirror and laughing with each other. it always cheers me up!
