In the past week I have watched the following movies:

Star Trek-The Final Frontier 1989
Star Trek -The Undiscovered Country 1991
Star Trek-Generations 1994

Since May, I have been watching everything of the original cast members including all 79 episodes (1966-1969) and all 7 motion pictures. Now I, and my family are up to (warp) speed.

Paranormal Activity

It's a mockumentary about a couple that experiences demonic activity in their house and attempt to record it on camera/ audio. I have to say, this is a lot better than most horror movies out there, but it still could use improvment. In regard to how well they portrayed the demonic activity, I thought it was dead on, when compared with real life stories of people being harassed by demons. The director himself said he used to experience some strange things in a place he once lived. He did good research for the movie. But I still think he could have taken it a step further, and made it a lot more scary (probably possible with a larger budget (the budget was only $15,000). However, they used that limited budget extremely well.

If you're scared by most horror movies these days, you WILL be scared by this movie. If it takes a lot to scare you, you might be scared, or might not. I was a bit frightened at some points, (I'm not affected much by most horror movies) not by the imagery, but by the shock value of the parts that are supposed to make you "jump". Needless to say, I was the least scared of the people I went with. Wink
