I am like that with all console game systems...I get bored of them after a couple of months. I always go back to PC gaming (even more so since my favorite's are MMORPG's or FPS's).
Each console system has their pro's and con's. Wii is very simplistic to me and appears as if they were aiming entirely at grade school children...with a slight degree going to the 40+ crowd (the Sport and Fitness packages). There is very little there for those of the High School or College age groups (in my opinion). Most of those guys and gals are looking for games that have state of the moment graphics, sound and play...something Wii doesn't even come close to.
However, I love the Wii Sport and Fit (being an older and disabled guy). I also enjoy the simplicity of the game system because I have very young children that are FAR from being able to get into PS3 or X-Box games...but they (even the three year old) play right along with us on the Wii!
My wife loves it because she has lost 10 lbs with the Wii Fit...in just the past two weeks! She also is trying very hard to pass my skill on Rock Band (not going to happen). Hahaha! It is something our whole family has came together with (even grandma and grandpa think it is pretty neet playing Golf, Bowling, Baseball and etc on it)!
Am I saying Wii "roxxors" and PS3 and X-Box "suxxors"? No way! They are both awesome systems!
Do I think it is an added bonus that I can tune in to our BJ Radio station on the system? Yes! As a matter of fact, I tuned into MetalFRO's last show on it and it rocked!
